I also picked up a Ghost pines merlot, the swill of the common man!
As to futures not so much, though half the stuff you buy from premier cru isn’t delivered for 8 months.
A buddy of mine through my friday night wine group sent me a flier from North Berkely imports. They are having a 50% off sale on 06 Burgundy. If you buy a case its 30% off 2 is 40% and 3 is 50%. I personally feel Burgundy prices are collapsing MUCH faster than other wine regions.
I wouldn’t mind putting together a group to buy 3 cases if there were Burgundy hounds amongst us.
