felix: I don’t know if you listened to either Katie Couric or Chris Mathews during the inauguration ceremony, but it was enough to make you retch.
While Chris was slightly over-the-top in his usual bloviating, pointlessly anecdotal sort of way, Katie was as breathless as a schoolgirl and utterly enraptured. It’s not the sycophantic nonsense that I find so offensive, it’s the fact that none of these so-called journalists are doing their jobs.
While the claims of a left-leaning bias are often jeered at, one has to wonder how the Rezko/Wright/Ayers connections would have been handled if they had to do with McCain. Sarah Palin was absolutely excoriated by certain female members of the media for a having a teenage daughter who was pregnant.
