You know it is funny to see these kids wear those T-Shirts around these days…
I walk past them and they are probably looking at me and saying “square” and “old guy” but I want to turn to them and say… “You know… I actually went to their show at the VFW hall in Vegas… Where did you see them?”… You know they never have.
I was working a contract in Salt Lake City one year about the 2004 time frame and decide to go check out down town… I am walking past a small bar about 9 PM at night and I here the last bars of “World gone Mad” by Agent Orange. I turn to the bouncer and asked “Who’s playing tonight?” and he replied “Some band called Agent Orange…” I said “THE Agent Orange!?!” to which he replied “I guess so… They’re a bunch of old guys.” I asked him whats the cover and he said “Go right in I think they are done…” Wouldn’t you know it… I missed the last set!
Just goes to show you never know what you are going to run into in this world and where…
A couple of months later I interrupts Sir Anthony Hopkins during the filming of “World’s Fastest Indian” at 4 am on a Tuesday morning in SLC too!
