Anyone who joins does so with the full knowledge that they may be sent elsewhere to fulfill the terms of their contract. Everyone knows the risks when they sign their name. This guy knew he could be sent away and failed to make his financial decisions with that in mind. He over-leveraged himself and got caught in a bind. I feel as bad for him as I do for all those other people who signed stupid loans. It is not the government’s fault that the guy is in financial distress and was the victim of predatory lending.
I get really sick of people eager to remove responsibility from the individual and blame the government.
