if you want to drink good limited production wines you need to have a good relationship with a good store. Meritage actually has good prices and even better ones for regular customers. Dont mistake selling higher priced wines at fair prices (which is what they do) with simply selling lower priced wines. They were selling the Almvs& for $30 which was an absolute steal for the quality it is.

As a frequent shopper, I get 10 to 15% off everything in the store and they have weekly emails for great wines some of which are great buys under $10. Last weekend for $20, I was able to drink as much as I wanted of about 30 different wines at one of their invitation only store specials. Many of these wines were over $40/bottle and they even fed me to boot.
