I would think a reasonably priced reverse osmosis system would be the way to go unless you are concerned about hard water for bathing and washing laundry. But while I am at it, let me scare the hell out of some people. Did you know that someone could easily overcome the water pressure at the kitchen tap or other domestic water supply valve and force poison into the system? This is in any area where back flow prevention isn’t the norm or is malfunctioning or bypassed.
