Most of what I am seeing in buyers would fall under this rubric.
TG: you are right. My numbers are off. I think 65-80k a year would be closer to what I am thinking of. Sorry.
One question: If there are 2 people grossing 25k a year each (12.50/hr) they are likely going to be taxed at a slightly lower rate than one person making 50k. Am I right or wrong about this?
That being said, most couples that are looking for a purchase make at least 60 a year. At least the ones I am seeing. When you figure that in a 2000 hr per person per year that works out to only 15/hr, its not so far-fetched. I am seeing those houses rent for $1700/mth but again, this may be just my experience.
