If you read for the fine print this is a bi-partisan push for the a bailout. In fact, there was much more resistance from a few conservative Rep’s against this bailout, which unfortunately looks like have disappeared.

Nothing more irritating than knowing that I’ll be subsidizing my overstretched neighbor, who among many things that I despise took out a first and second with IndyMac and a heloc on top of that from Countrywide, and is irritating as hell spending on all sorts of crap and doing ridiculous fugly intrusive landscaping and talks and acts that he’s so damn wealthy. (Yeah, whatever dude, I checked your records, I know you’re up the hill without a paddle so don’t give me that I’m weathly and can spend like crazy in your face crap.) I was hoping he would have gone under by now. I was looking forward to running a bulldozer across his row trees he just planted at the property line after the banked seized his home. Guess I need to wait a few more years.
