I don’t like MR eithe but how is it a farce. When new property is developed on a grand scale city resources are going to be tapped into by the owner. Scools get hit with more student and have to hire more teachers . Utilities need to be wired up, sewer system used more, street and roads more utilized. So who is suppose to pay for this.
If yo put it to the builder then he is going to add it to his purchase price. If the purchase price which includes MR is not in line with the market and his profit motive then he is going to walk and the project does not move forward.
If o don’t like MR (I am not a fan) fine . But to say that the developers are getting some sort of free pass suggests a lack of top down understanding of what those fees are for.
