Sort of.
I mean Marx and others early on have explicit dislike of religion.

The application of communism is realized locally.

I think that is why the Khmer reds hated the Viet Reds so much.

I also think that is why North Korea is so psychotic and was disliked by other reds during the cold war.

Note:
The only political system I have ever seen spread in a way that is similar across locations, is British Liberalism. Its not the same everywhere but the differences between say the US and Pakistan are not so big as to be mutually alienating.
