zk: I could not agree more. The lying is pervasive. Lots of self-deception, especially in political matters, partisan fanatics. Either way, it’s bullshit.

AFF, man — I had to sell my bike… Yeah, kind of a bummer. Same deal, two kids, just too much going on these days. Bad risk for me to be riding right now, seems like I’m always tired these days.

Some boomer guy came by last month, gave me a couple grand and rode off on it. Broke my heart. Almost crashed into a parked car on the way out of my driveway… <cringe>

Pretty funny sight. Kawasaki KLR650, so it rides high. I’m 6’5″ so no trouble for me, but boomer guy was about 5’9″, and had to lean the bike to get his foot flat on the ground. It just wasn’t right.

The guy was alright. Expect he’ll be fine. Mostly, I just want my bike back. Wish I hadn’t sold it. Sour grapes. So it goes.
