Our President mentioned in the 2006 State of the Union address that ‘America is addicted to oil’.

But I don’t see how drilling in the ANWAR is going to break that addiction.

If our Oil addiction was like Heroin, and ANWAR drilling could be our Methadone…..I would listen to that plan.

But up till now it sounds like ANWAR drilling would just feed the beast for a few more years… then what?
