Does neocon Bolton say that the US should not have negotiated with N Korea? What credible alternative does neocon Bolton propose viz N Korea? Has neocon saber rattling worked in Iran? Actually according to the neocons themselves, Iran has responded by becoming more hardline, so they propose more of the same, which makes little sense. so perhaps negotiations are in order. The macho posturing by Bolton and his neocon ilk, none of whom have ever served a day in the military, are exactly what resulted in the Iraq fiasco, which a large majority of Americans conclude was a mistake. So, we need more Iraqs I suppose instead of negotiating, sounds like a loser to me.
Also, Israel negotiates routinely with their enemies Hamas and Hezbollah to obtain prisoner exchanges, for example, so frankly, negotiations can and do work, and are a far better option than the neocon macho posturing of no negotiation which has shown such incredible success in Iraq and Iran (note sarcasm).
