yea cities/counties can be much worse than HOA’s sometimes.

Yeah I would be screwed…
Saved about $2500 doing my valve cover and oil filter gaskets on the N55 motor…
I only broke 3 things that is glueable, and lost 1 socket by dropping it into a a bottomless pit in the engine bay… $7 replacement, really sad e12 socket is going to be lonely there.
Look how clean my engine is now 🙂 Can’t do it in Sacramento…

Is it a major repair if the engine stays IN the car? LOL.
Do it with the garage door closed and no one will know. Maybe that is the point of the ordinance.
