Surveyor, for the most part I have made a mental note, non-disclosed up until now, to agree to disagree with you from the start. I do not want an embarassing replay of Rustico Vs. JG. Not implying fault to you. Just want to be careful.
My bad though on the quote you bring up. I didn’t mean to limit the discusson of Israel to Palestine at all. I have some idea/opinion of how Israel came to be, why they came to be and what they have done and become since and the implications are more relevant than Palestine “victim” response IMO.
As far a Islam, or any religion goes, I prefer to discuss it with moderates( which I am assuming you are not). This goes for Moslems and Christians alike or non-believers. I really do need help with the topic though. Generally speaking I think the religious element becomes a bit of a smokescreen as it gets cherry picked for emotional effect/propaganda and derails a more responsible dialougue about ethics, power and economics.
