    So, going to H-Cabinet to pick up some new granite/quartz countertop, I was expecting prices to have gone up since last year, due to the tariffs.

    I was surprised that not only did prices not go up, they actually went down…..lol. And these are all made in china.

    Maybe quartz is not on the list. The yuan is down too.

    Also, the beautiful thing about China is that automation and economies of scale have made previously luxury products everyday items. Win, win, win.

    Don’t you want to buy the brand name quartz to ensure quality? Some people claim that the generic Chinese quartz is not top quality.
