No harm in that. I like MM as well. If other people liked it a lot I probably wouldn’t like it so much. Not because I’m trying to go against the grain, but just because having a tarnished reputation keeps the SUV-enshrined soccer moms out. Heaven forbid their children should be exposed to real-world elements, we must shelter the younglings, keep up with the Joneses, and maintain grandiose appearances!

Lots of people take what MM has for granted. Good or bad it’s got one of SD’s most used traffic corridors, there is an array of international markets and restaurants to choose from, including what I think is one of SD’s best restaurants: Wine Sellar and Brasserie. It is also close to good jobs and schools. I think if they built some clubs and entertainment venues this place would have a major revival as far as desirability. I like MM too! Before we bought in Carmel Valley, we lived in UTC and did most shopping in MM. After we moved, we still shop at MM.
