Very good point FLU. I was thinking along the same thing. I wonder if those of you who consider $250k household income to be rich also consider $125k individual income to be rich as well.
The point that he hasn’t clarified this to me is disturbing…It seems he’s just pulling things out of his ass.
I voted against Bush. And though I’m not a McCain fan, like the previous election(s), my vote this time is a vote not “for” someone, but rather ensuring I vote against someone else.
I just find it ironic that folks disappointed about these RE bailouts aren’t equally alarmed about free handouts. Those that make more already *do* pay a hell of a lot more taxes than everyone else. Perhaps others should learn more how to manage their savings instead of buying all sorts of bling bling bling sh!t.
The other thing that is bothering me about Obama…He’s starting to pick candidates from the older baby boomer generation. Why? Ah, because Obama needs these votes, and he knows he won’t win unless he says something about taxing more to ensure those Social Security benefits are fattened for all those baby boomers retiring. So again, here we go….Poor/lower middle class people should get their cut, baby boomer retirees will get their cut…Who is going to be paying for this again?
