Call provident. Or ask HLS
May 18, 2016 at 3:19 PM #797716masayakoParticipantHi there,
What/Who is “HLS”?Thanks!
May 18, 2016 at 4:16 PM #797719anParticipantZillow. That’s where I found the lowest rate a couple of months ago.

Send a PM to HLS. He’s a broker that use to occasionally post here…until some of the folks trolled him two weeks ago and probably doesn’t want to post around here anymore, just like the former good real estate agents/brokers that stopped posting here for the same reasons.
I haven’t used him but lots of people have. And his clients seemed to be happy with his service.
Or search for the thread about refinancing from 4% to 3.75% which he briefly posted until, well as most threads end up on Piggington these days.
May 18, 2016 at 7:19 PM #797729mattParticipantI concur that hls always came across as knowledgeable and capable.
May 18, 2016 at 8:04 PM #797731CoronitaParticipanthere you go.
http://piggington.com/375_vs_400
HLS posted somewhere in the middle of that clusterfck of a thread…
Don’t ask about 0 pt/0 cost loans here publicly, unless you want to be tarred and feathered by a bunch of “piggington quarterback experts”
If you want useful information, sending PM’s to some of the old timers is pretty helpful Chances, are they’ve “been there, done that” in all sorts of things, and so they can point you in the right direction.
also..
May 19, 2016 at 3:10 AM #797739AnonymousGuestLOL, “only solicit opinions from people who agree with me.”

More like, talk to many people who have different opinions who aren’t dicks and don’t have an axe to grind for whatever reasons.
No wonder most of the old timer posters have disappeared. Piggington posts is more like a cesspool these days
May 19, 2016 at 8:12 AM #797745bibsoconnerParticipantHello,
The original poster could be me! I’m also looking for a 15 year fixed. I’m currently in a 30 year, $300K loan at 4.125 APR if memory serves. I’m about 2 years in.
In other posts (example: http://piggington.com/mortgage_rates_going_down) Aimloan was recommended. Do the regulars still like this one? I’ve taken note of the provident and HLS recommendations.
Cheers,
Dave

Well, since they are anyway, can you pay me just like how other people are going to say you are already doing, when you really aren’t?
May 19, 2016 at 11:27 PM #797788HLSParticipantAbsolutely Flu,,,
Do u accept bitcoin or Monopoly money ?I have to bite my tongue to not call the jerks out for what they really are, and even though they don’t think they are jerks,it’s obvious to everyone else.
I actually feel sorry for them.

May 20, 2016 at 1:03 PM #797803allParticipant+1 for HLS. I did few refi’s through him. One was with Provident – they had the best rate, but required more paperwork than others. AimLoan also worked well for me.
