    I was driving near a new 55+ development in Del Sur today (not quite old enough to qualify, just happened to be in the area). As you approach the development, there is a series of small signs (somewhat like the old Burma Shave ones, but not as witty) extolling the virtues of this community. Walking paths and parks were mentioned, as were the single level homes. What I was surprised to see, however, was that one sign was devoted to a rather odd community feature – “like minded neighbors”. First of all, how can they promise “like minded neighbors” with a straight face? And more importantly – what kind of minds do these people have?

    Simple — it’s actually an experiment by Google. In exchange for a cheaper sale price, you get wired into a hive mind.

    Right. You will become like minded or you will be forced out. The sign is too vague to be actionable

    Yes with my 2 kids still at home. They are learning so much. We all love slipping jimmy, mike, tuco, the whole crew

    Well, in theory there won’t be any school aged kids around needing schools? Not too many whippersnappers on skateboards?
