Anybody see it in the western sky tonight? Looked like maybe a satellite burning up on re-entry, green after glow indicating it possibly contained large quantities of copper.
Wish I had seen it. Hopefully someone got it on video.
I was driving so I couldn’t but my wife was watching it the whole time and wishes she had.

Trident missile? Hope the test failed — each one of those things represents a million or so dead people.
(Yes, I know the test was unarmed.)
Also, if that’s what a missile warhead re-entry looks like, seeing something like that in future will not give me a very comfortable feeling.
So much for the secret military activity that is will be diverting landing patterns at LAX this week.

I think a test like that combined with a missile defense test would be way cool! Maybe an EMP like they use in the Matrix movie.
