We went to Pacific sales in Temecula (think that was the name of the place) last weekend to spend the rebate check we have not got yet on a new side by side refrigerator, anyway the place was so busy it took almost an hour to get a sales rep to wait on us, then we had to stand in line to get the paper work done as well.
There is still some money to spend yet…
That's because there is a mass conspiracy on refrig manufacturers. They all have a timer inside to all break at the same time. Mine is on it's last leg, so I was one of those people looking for a new fridge too. PacSales was packed. Sears, however, was not. So I guess it depends on the store. Despite what people think, I don't think Costco is going to have any problems with the recession. They are great at mixing up what they stock, and people still need to eat. (Anyone notice food at costco has gone up A LOT? )
OT: what do folks think about the three door fridges with side-by-side and a freezer on the bottom?
