September 5, 2014 at 6:49 PM #777840UCGalParticipant1. Traffic (especially in Mira Mesa and 805 south in the evenings.) This was a contributing factor in my retirement.
2. Shoes (have to agree with Scaredy on this.)
3. Kids that have selective listening.
4. Ants. (We’ve been invaded… time to get Borax soaked cotton balls out.)
September 5, 2014 at 8:16 PM #777841scaredyclassicParticipantI like ants.
One of my pet peeves are pet dogs.
September 5, 2014 at 8:46 PM #777842moneymakerParticipantI get peeved when our littlest dog pees on the bed, that has happened twice today. One set of sheets is in the dryer while the other set is in the washer.

2) Things that don’t work properly at the very
moment when you need them to do so.
3) Clutter and disorganization. And dirt…I really, really hate dirt.September 6, 2014 at 7:08 AM #777849no_such_realityParticipantCrony capitialism and the hegemony created through campaign contribution from special interests. Leon Musk springs to mind with the recent massive deal to exploit Nevada and the politicians willingness to sell everything out to garner votes

September 6, 2014 at 11:13 AM #777853FlyerInHiGuestreal estate related.
Having only 1 dishwasher. What a waste of time it is to empty the dishwasher!? All houses should be equipped with 2 dishwashers so you can move the daily dishes from 1 machine to the next.
My next apartment will have 2 dishwashers.
Maybe 2 sets of stackable washers/dryers also. A family with kids should definitely have that.
September 6, 2014 at 2:09 PM #777857NotCrankyParticipantI love dirt.
September 6, 2014 at 6:10 PM #777858scaredyclassicParticipantAll of the earth’s dirt is just a tiny floating flake on the planet

Buy your next house from an Orthodox Jewish family, and it may come so equipped. Probably with two drawer type dishwashers to separate meat and dairy dishes.

I’m not crazy about those drawer dishwashers.
I recently remodeled my kitchen but didn’t think about 2 dishwashers. It would not have been much more. You have to add the cost of the extra dishwasher, but you save on the cabinetry.
I also think that at least 2 dryers in the laundry room should be the new standard.
Yes, we are improving our standard of living with more material. Think of those housewives of the past slaving away to do their 5 kids’ laundry!
September 8, 2014 at 1:38 PM #777885The-ShovelerParticipantBeing on the receiving end of everyone else’s pet peeves.
Seriously there seems to be a lot more people these days who seem to always want to make a really big deal out of very small things.
