RaptorDuck, awesome post thanks! When I posted my question, I didn’t mean for it to be provocative but I thought it could be.. glad you understood. Just wanted some insight on what/how people are doing that are successful enough to live in that area.
I am successful right now in many ways, just not where I want to be with financial security.. I do software development for work, but I pretty much loathe it – I started in this practice area because I love business, and felt that without a college degree programming would expose me to real life business and processes. What I’ve found out, is that I’ve hit a glass ceiling.. and through all of the complication in developing applications, that I hunger to work in simple markets π I’d like to target industries like towing, businesses that are very complacent yet hard to break into. I think that the complacency of many of these old formerly mom and pop shops creates HORRIBLE customer service, which does not survivew in capitalism without serious life support.
Anyways, finances are next.. I just ended up in a great relationship with the woman I chased since high school(12 years). We moved out to Colorado, as a way to slow down the rat wheel until I find my real passion as it relates to earnings.. an easy way to loosen the finances! π
