That could make for an interesting ride–hope it all works out.
We were supposed to take visitors up in our plane for sightseeing along the coast, then to the Grand Canyon this weekend, but we called it off for obvious reasons.
Lots of events are being impacted by the rainstorm, but I’m still glad to see every bit of free water we can get, and hope there’s more to come.
That’s not auto cross…
Its drifting with an aide!
Good luck…
When in doubt… Power out!

What do you drive in the autocross, flu? What kind of car/motor/trans?
Having autocrossed in the rain, it’s incredibly fun and useful since you constantly lose control of your car even at very slow speeds during the auto-cross. Worst part is having to work in the rain and generally getting massively wet. I assume you’re using a rear wheel drive car too?
I had it happen to me on the normal roads as well and you instinctively learn to counter steer and try to balance/control the car.
Would prefer to just auto-x on wet ground without the rain.
