I scanned through the previous threads and didn’t see any recommendations for up in Oceanside area.

I am looking for an electrician and also a house painter/handyman type someone that would paint the baseboards and do a little drywall repair.

Our house was built in 1999, and the builder did not install any lights in the bedrooms, so we use lamps and it is annoying!

I had one of the general contractor guys give me a quote when we were doing a lot of work last year after we bought the place, but his quote seemed high $2500 (and he was a GC not an electrician) to install lights in 5 bedrooms? The second floor master has a high ceiling/pitched roof, I have no clue how they even do these things, I assume there is a crawl space? Have not gone up and crawled around myself….

When we had the new floors put in they “installed” baseboards. Apparently I misunderstood the concept of installing, they cut them and nailed them in, but did not caulk or paint, I have been doing some of it myself, but it sucks and we did the ENTIRE house and I just want to pay someone to make it be DONE.

After we demo’ed everything, while the floors and countertops were being installed I painted the entire place myself (well I had some wonderful marines from Camp Pendleton come help, they were awesome and dirt cheap). I painted everything the same color and we didn’t do a very detailed/good job.

Anyway, finally getting around to doing some of the smaller projects around the house and looking for recommendations.
