I’m sure there’s not an app for it (yet)…
January 4, 2014 at 12:13 PM #769514spdrunParticipantYou’d be horrified at New York — people bring them into restaurants and banks … officially illegal, but what’s a law that’s not enforced much?
I’d watch out though … with recent news out of North Korea, it seems that Kim Jong Eun(uch) may release some dogs with frickin’ laser beams on the US population.

And the dog claims it was an accident.

Dog bite in store equals big liability potentially.

I agree, and there’s also a restaurant in Temecula that permits dogs (Lazy Dog Cafe).
January 4, 2014 at 1:32 PM #769521DataAgentParticipantHave you seen the dog bathroom at the airport?

January 4, 2014 at 2:02 PM #769522CoronitaParticipantHow about car seats for dogs?
January 4, 2014 at 2:42 PM #769523TemekuTParticipantJust got back from Carmel, Aptos, Pacifica, Soquel…dogs everywhere. It is a socioeconomic phenomenon. The more wealthy the area, the more apt you are to see dogs everywhere, including the upscale stores and boutiques. Take a trip to Fashion Island to see the dogs in Neiman Marcus and Saks. Try taking a dog to the Target in Tustin Marketplace – that’s a “no go”.
In Paris we observed dogs in several restaurants – no problem. Maybe we’re weird here.
January 4, 2014 at 2:54 PM #769524TemekuTParticipantMy dog has a car seat because she’s so small. And she goes to Lowes and Home Depot frequently. Plus, Scaredy, she’s cat safe :)) and doesn’t drool or bark :))

[/quote]On the way him from NY. Happy to get a flight away from thr snow and cold.
Dogs everywhere in my friend’s neighborhood on upper west side. There are golden retrievers in the building. I’m pretty sure the size limit is smaller but the rules are not enforced. Goldies are so cute and harmless.I love dogs. Love of dogs is a sign of a good person. But scoop the poop. Those who don’t are bad parents.
January 4, 2014 at 6:37 PM #769527moneymakerParticipantDidn’t see any blood in that video paramount. When walking our dogs we see lots of bad dog owners. Like the ones that let their dogs run around off leash, not a good idea in my mind. We have seen a distant neighbor who actually lets their pit bull walk around in their not fenced yard, bad idea!
January 4, 2014 at 6:47 PM #769528spdrunParticipantIf a dog is well trained, being off-leash should be OK in a park or whatever.
January 4, 2014 at 7:36 PM #769530FlyerInHiGuestRaising dogs is like raising kids. Takes effort and dedication. Lots of people ruin it for everybody else.
January 4, 2014 at 10:15 PM #769533scaredyclassicParticipantGod I despise dogs. Simpering hounds.
