i have always been terrified of scary movies, ever since I saw the SHINING in i think 1983 and couldnt sleep for a few days. I have since then always studiously avoided anything too scary. Now, I am beginning a horror movie binge fest. The goal: desensitization; fear confrontation.

I began with Carrie, which wasn’t bad, because the 70’s clothing made it pretty unrealistic. Next, we watched JuOn, the japanese version of THE GRUDGE. now im ready for the hard stuff…

The Exorcist has got to be up there. I also hated the Nightmare on Elm Street movies.

There is no movie that could scare me. I can get pretty choked up about the sappiest stuff though, even in an awful movie. I was really happy when the crew from Hogwarts killed the dark lord and also especially that bitch Bellatrix Lestrange.

Saw silence if lambs w kids last night. Was scary. To me in 91. Kind of cute in 2013. I guess only old age and decrepitude scare me now. And the dark.
