It’s all a hallucination.
And I can’t figure out why I’m giggling at everything….
hmmmm
I was gently implying that Congress seems to be ON some psychedelic drugs. That’s one of the few good explanations for the Obamacare/budget catfight.
I doubt psychedelics explain current political squabble. If anything I think they would encourage people reaching out across the aisle and dancing heedlessly while discussing the issues at a level they subjectively perceive as much much deeper.
Booze, crankiness lack of exercise, repressed sexuality, cigarettes better explain squabbles.

Reporter: So, Mr. Cat, What would be your first act if elected to congress?
Scaredy: I’d hold a shroom party and invite all my fellow congressmen.

Why not? I’d say it has a better chance of working than any of the bs they’re doing now.
doesn’t walter white’s incredible rage in BREAKING BAD sum up the times?

Actually narcissism explains it best. Look at all the posturing for/against the fake fillibuster and the names being tossed out like “surrender caucus”.
It’s all ego and no substance.
(And I chose a GOP issue – but it could just as well been a DEM issue – both sides are more about the ego than the people.)
Alcohol is the drug of choice for narcissists
