I think it’s kind of comical how the ‘nay’ people in this discussion use ‘Adam and Steve’ as the poster couple for gay marriage when the stats show pretty clearly that a very large preponderance of all same-sex marriages are female-female.
Considering how young women are incessantly told about ‘the happiest day of your life’, does this really surprise anyone that these ladies simply want to follow the dream they’ve accepted as reality?
The vast majority of gay men I know have little if any interest in marriage, except to the extent that it satisfies a political objective. Only two couples have even suggested that they’ve even talked about it.
It’s not about the guys. It’s about the little girl’s dream.
