Yes and yes. And if you frequently eat there, you can open a prepaid account there that gets you i think 20% off.
Ranch 99 is better than most Vietnamese supermarkets here in SD in terms of cleanliness. We like Zion Marketplace better (Korean supermarket). unfortunately that's not saying much… I guess as you guys go to Zion we end up in Marukai (japanese at Balboa). a new and clean 99 Ranch would capture back a lot of lost business.
The urban legend has it that there are some shady reasons why there aren't more chinese supermarkets here, but i don't know if those rumors are true.
