Dude. You got shafted on the 7 days of funding…
The last time I was complaining about a 2 day overlap, and they ended up getting it done in 1 day.But are you sure you are pointing the finger at the right one? Seems like the 7 days funding issue might have been an issue with the escrow company, not the title company.
I don’t think you can do much about #1.
Regarding #2, someone screwed up. They should have dispatched a mobile notary and taken care of it right away…You can try to argue that one ,but again I doubt that would give much.#3, you definitely need to bring this up with the escrow company…What probably will happen is you get issued a refund…
#4. Bring this you. You should get it back too.

“North American Title Company” were the escrow company here. [World Wide Land Transfer, Inc, were the title company.]Again, the escrow company, “North American Title Company”, is not responding to me. Hence my question…
What options do i have?

spdrun,
No offence. I mean, it’s the holidays an’ all, but what a completely useless response for me. If I knew who the regulatory authority was i probably wouldn’t be asking this question.
You are a gnat’s prick away from being place firmly on the top of my “ignore” list. πtb

Well, first I would get wells fargo’s statement of some sort showing the total loan payoff.
Second, I would get a statement from the escrow company how itemizing exactly how much was paid to wells fargo and how much was paid to your new loan…
If wells fargo was paid more than they should have, don’t worry, they’ll most likely issue a refund. They’re pretty good about that….It might take a few days though (weeks?)….
I *doubt* your escrow company is keeping the difference of the fund…
In short, you might end up having to chase after each of the recipients that were paid. I had to do that one time… Even the courier fee difference, you might have to end up doing that yourself…
Was this escrow company a really tiny operation? I had a bad experience with one that was basically a 1 person shop…. Scary as hell.
