I’m considering buying a building for my biz (light industrial). I am wondering if anyone has any information on current trends? i.e. are ppsf dropping or rising? Which areas are better than others? Is there a season to this side of the RE biz?
What tips do any of you have for me?
I’m looking at Chula Vista, National City, and Southeast San Diego.
I finance commercial real estate and have relationships with industrial brokers that would be able to get you specifics about the trends in those areas. PM me and Ill send you some contact info. In general, industrial fared pretty well during the downturn. Obviously some areas better than others, but in general the bank view of this product type is favorable.
BTW – its a great time for owner/users to buy. Rates ate low and banks (at least mine) are hungry for qualified business loans.
