I think you’re the one that back in February had written him off completely. In fact he was ahead in delegates at the time and you all made fun of me for it. The bottom line is I was right.
You also said real estate would appreciate 5-7% this year too and things were looking up for future investors.

Hope he gets a big role at the convention in Tampa.I will be visiting my friend in Tampa so I can mingle with he Republican delegates when they run about town. Maybe I’ll be invited to a party.

Yes if you look at the post about appreciation it was not all real estate all over the country. However in for certain property classes in the county here. Absolutely.
Ummm… do you care to mention your thoughts on real estate and your prognostications?

I think before you offer your “all know it” opinion about how bad an investment is, you probably should get your own house in order…
..it’s probably more likely real estate will appreciate 5-7% this year than we’ll see Zygna recoup it -35%+ loss in that happened only in past 2-3 months for the remainder of the year.
Losing 5-7% or even 10-15% on a house over years is nothing compared to taking a 30%+ hit on stock in 1-3 months…And you can’t live in pile of stock shares.
And from this point on almost impossible to lose 30+% in a house in a few months short of act of mother nature.April 24, 2012 at 1:25 PM #742131zk

ParticipantI dont think there are any RP haters or MM haters around here. Both are mildly entertaining to us.
I also think MM might be confusing SD R and myself. I dont think either of us predicted 5 to 7% appreciation but I did say I wouldnt rule it out. Based upon what has gone down the last month I stand by that again.
