Puerto Vallarta is getting really developed now too. Tons and tons of condos and they cost as much as the ones do here for the most part. $300K seems to be the going price for a nice 1/1.
Mexico’s relationship with the environment is different than ours — better in some ways, worse in others. All wildlife in Mexico is protected, so that’s good. But there is definitely more trash on the streets than here, so that’s bad.
The NAU is coming and we will all be one big happy family soon. The differences between Mexico and the US are much less stark than they were 20 years ago. In another 20 years they will be even less noticeable.
