It seems like most landlords (including private homeowners) use Craigslist these days.
Looks that way – thanks UC. I am pretty surprised at the asking prices for the nicer 4 bedroom homes – thought we could get into something for around $3-3.5K but it looks more like $4-4.5K. Oh well.
It seems like prices have dropped almost 50K and rents have gone up as much as 500/month in the last few months

Rents are kind of like list prices of homes for sale… they’re a starting point for negotiation.
Back in my college days (when dinasaurs roamed the earth) rents weren’t negotiable. Now, they totally are if you have good credit and income.
