Think of it as you’re contributing to our GDP and Japan’s recovery…Very noble effort…
And in actuality, if you bought L series lenses 2-3 years ago or select gear, you would have seen them appreciate….A lot of the gear went up in price significantly…
The 580EXII flash use to sell for $285 new. One of my buddies just sold one of his for $365 used.
DSLR bodies however will forever depreciate…Because these are turning out to be like computers…

ParticipantDon’t buy gifts. Just don’t. We have saved thousands of dollars by never buying our kids Xmas or birthday gifts. It’s brilliant. Just buy stuff as u go along, get better deals , buy as needed.
No gifts!!!
