crossed my mind doing two hours of sweat soaked yardwork this morning that perhaps acreage should be measured not just from a flat overhead view, but how big an area the land would be if you flattened it all out. I’d be curious to know. I used to live on five acres that took no time at all to circumnavigate, but this 2.5 acres thing can take me 5 minutes just to go up a tiny stretch and weed. is there sucha thing as this measurement? is it known by any name? i guess the ads call flat land “useable land” but what is all this damned hilly stuff? it needs to be used one way or the other…
