    Can any of you recommend a trustworthy and dependable and ethical company for hardwood flooring installation? I know there are lots of companies in San Diego but I’d prefer to use companies that people have actually used and had good experiences with.

    Also, is high end hard wood flooring still running about $10 – $12 per sq. foot with installation these days in San Diego?

    I can’t give you a recommendation on the flooring company since I have mine installed by an independent contractor. But with regards to high end hard wood flooring, I think $10-$12/sq-ft seems about right for material a lone. Installation runs between $1.50-2.50/sq-ft. High end bamboo from Teragren goes for around $6-8/sq-ft for materials.

    Thanks guys. Also, thanks to the private PM’s I received of people that personally used companies. I really prefer to take a look at companies that people have actually used rather than realtor referrals. Thanks again.
