    Looking for the best luxury car, prefer used, for under $40k. Ay recommendation? And why?

    I would recommend a used Infiniti M35. Excellent ride with a lot of options and reliability second to none.

    Actually, reliability second to many.

    Acura RL, Volvo S80, Mercedes E Class, Lexus GS, Cadillac STS, and Audi A6 all beat it in the midsize category:

    Without any other info I would say a 3 Series BMW.

    A BMW 335i is probably one of the best overall cars in the world.
