Ocean — sounds like I missed you by a year or so. My brother and I had the master lease for the buildings in Koloa which we renovated into the shopping center back in 85. Koloa was where I got my start in the Pizza business.

I built a house in Poipu in 1988 (Bayview@Poipu Kai). I still remember the numbers, 90,000 for the lot and 110,000 construction costs for a 2000 sq ft house. Sold it for 275,000 and thought I made a killing. The house only suffered minor damage from the hurricane and the last sale a couple of years ago was 1.5m.
