    3-4 friends around me are shopping for houses in Sd county. I am pretty convinced that housing price will steady go up this summer. I predicted housing price will stop dropping and may even start rising as early as 2011. Looks like I could be right. We shall see… :0)

    I’m curious to know if your friends are all people who waited out the bubble like me?

    I am personally looking, finally, but I’m not jumping on anything that isn’t priced at today’s prices.

    I would also say that the general public, for the most part, believes that the RE market will continue to drop. I know that sounds crazy for some markets, but I think it will too. So while I tell people I’m looking, I’m not going to buy until I get the right deal for me.

    I have already walked away from something I really liked.

    I know many friends who would like to upgrade, but they are underwater, or convinced the market has further to fall, so it’s definitely a mixed bag of buyers right now.
