    I remember reading a chart posted here that was called Sales Per Default i believe and that it basically said once it lifted over about 2 or 3 , the market began to climb from there. Does anyone have this chart with the latest info on it?

    I stopped doing this chart because of the whole shadow inventory concept… specifically that so many defaults were just staying off the market. So it became less meaningful. But it might not be a bad idea to check in on it again; I will try to update it soon.

    Well are there any other good leading indicators similar to forsee housing bottoming? I have read Housing Starts and Housing Permits are….?

    But there is no one indicator to signal a sustainable bottom… there are too many factors at work.
