    Septic tank is clogged; hadn’t been pumped in decades. Approx 5-7000 to repair.

    Any chance the bank will pay in a short sale or will they tell me they don’t give a crap.

    I’m not sure – but without septic the home isn’t habitable… They might *have* to remediate.

    I could be wrong. Probably am.

    that sucks, sorry to hear that…But it begs the question… where did the previous owner’s poop go then? If you don’t have answer, my friendly advice: be careful where you step 🙂
