This is probably a loaded question but why can’t Oceanside get it together? It really has a lot of potential to be a nice coastal city.

Growing up in Newport Beach I remember that Hunington Beach (yes, I am from the OC) had some issues but the city was able to turn itself around. My parents live in San Clemente now and they thought that Oceanside was getting better but judging by the lack of enthusiasm on this board, I’m not so sure.
