ParticipantCity votes to break ground on central library
Okay. I would love to have a new library. This should have been done back in the ’90’s before the stadium. But now? Is now really the time to do this? We have water mains and sewer mains breaking and pot holes and sink holes. We’re closing parks and libraries and cutting pay for fire, police and pretty much just about anybody that works for the city. Infrastructure is falling apart.
The taxpayers are looking to cover this bill down the road.
What the hell is going on? Has everyone just lost their frigging minds?

Participantpeople read in san diego? I thought we were just a bunch of beach bums.
jpinpb. This shouldnt be a surprise. Public sector is use to spending money they don’t have, tacking on a bunch of IOU’s and then having taxpayers cough up the difference.
Plus, image all the jobs this will create:) Lol…
