So by Dave the Realtor’s reasoning, when OPEC raises production, prices should go up because:

1. As there is more oil on the market prices go down

2. As prices go down, there is more consumption

3. Because there is more consumption, prices go up

4. So a raise in production by OPEC equals higher prices
