As with many other households recently, we’ve decided our dining room table is a waste of space. We have decided to replace it with a contemporary bar, which will work well due to proximity to the family room.
Rough specs are:
– approx 8 ft long
– contemporary styling
– translucent, lit panels
– minimal to no wood
A translucent lit bar top would be excellent, something along the lines of this (except much smaller, naturally):
We’ve googled for several hours over the last few weeks, but the only one we’ve found so far costs $6K-8K and must be shipped from Europe. That’s way more money that we want to spend.
We’d really like to find something in southern Calif that we could go look at, but if you could point us to something on the net that would work too.
