    Rich,
    How is your San Diego Home Price to Income Ratio chart work? It seems that it has had a drop of 40% – from 14.25 to 8.5. However, incomes seem (my perception) to have dropped because we now have twice the unemployment in San Diego from the peak. Also, in my area (Carlsbad) home prices have not dropped 40%…at least in reported sales and I was not aware that San Diego home prices are down 40% from their peak.
    It seems that a reading of 8.5 is where it was back in 2001 and home prices where much less then.
    I guess I am asking if you can throw me the metrics…..?

    Interesting question. It does seem like per-capita income should be much lower given high unemployment, if I understand the metric properly.
