    Ok, you piggies. Some of you out there must know.

    What are the best places to buy Palms, Succulents and Cactii? I’m looking for the more unusual type, and good sized cactii. Something more impressive than the stuff they sell at Home Depot. What nurseries in the greater San Diego area are best for this kind of thing?

    Try Cactus King in Encinitas. Get off on Santa Fe heading east and make a right heading south onto Crest Drive. It’s on the right about 1/2 mile down.

    My dad is a palm/cacti nut, and he has been to this place nearly every time they come down from Santa Barbara. It isnt cheap, but they ‘got some great stuff’.
